Jim McEnerney, Founder

As the founder of McEnerney Law, Jim aimed to create a client-centered estate planning firm. As a husband, father, and business owner, he understands how estate planning can easily become an afterthought. As an estate planning attorney, he understands the value and importance of establishing an estate plan. Working together, he guides clients through each step of the planning process. Focusing on each client’s specific concerns, he believes on building lasting client relationships to ensure each individual planning need is achieved as personal circumstances evolve.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from University of St. Thomas (MN) w/ honors, Jim received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from William Mitchell College of Law. He has been a member in good standing with the State Bar of Illinois since 2010.

Out of the office, Jim enjoys relaxing with his family at home in Arlington Heights. He loves grilling, working in the yard and garden, and spending time with with family and friends.
